Remote Michigan Container Pickup Using a Megalift Sidelifter

At Easy Street Transportation, we specialize in handling container moves that require more than just a standard truck. For this project, our team completed a remote container pickup in Michigan and transported it directly to the Chicago railyard — all in snowy winter conditions — using our Megalift Sidelifter.

The container was located at a remote job site with no loading equipment available. Instead of coordinating additional cranes or forklifts, our Megalift sidelifter allowed us to self-load the container directly from the ground. This not only simplified the process but significantly reduced extra handling costs for the customer. Even with snow-covered terrain, the Megalift performed reliably, providing a safe and efficient lift.

Once secured, the container was transported directly to the Chicago railyard for rail transfer.
